The View from the Chair

It is a pleasure to take over the reins of NLGLA during this exciting time.  The 2005 NLGLA administration oversaw an incredibly successful Lavender Law Career Fair and Conference and achieved commendable financial success, as well.  I intend to continue this success by making a commitment to planning and developing good fiscal health through a reserves policy and investment strategy in 2006.  What's more, I look forward to an incredibly successful Lavender Law Career Fair and Conference in our Nation's Capital this September.

Although only a few months into its tenure, the 2006 Executive Committee "ExCom" is already working on an interim strategic plan to carry us through the next couple of years -- at least to our 20th Anniversary in 2008.  I look forward to serving this organization throughout the year and should any of our members be interested in joining our team of effective and enjoyable volunteers, please let me know.

~~ Peter Glazer
